##AUTHORSPLIT##<--->

Dukane is expanding its line of LCD classroom projectors with the introduction of two new models, the ImagePro 8755J and the ImagePro 8755J-RJ, a network model.

Both of the new projectors offer XGA resolution (1,024 x 768) and feature a brightness rating of 2,200 lumens in normal mode (3,000-hour lamp life) and 1,800 in "whisper" mode (6,000-hour lamp life). The models also sport a new front-loading filter system for improved access, although, according to Dukane, they can go about 4,000 hours before the first maintenance.

Other features include:

  • Throw distance of 34 ft. to 423 ft.;
  • Whiteboard and blackboard modes to support a variety of projection surfaces;
  • 16-watt speaker;
  • Audio passthrough and monitor loopthrough;
  • Instant on and off; and
  • Built-in anti-theft features.

The 8755J-RJ, which is otherwise identical to the 8755J (even in weight), also provides networking support for monitoring and maintenance via an RJ-45 port. Pricing and availability information was not available at press time. Further information can be found here.
