New Version of Nureva's Troove Includes a Single Sign-On Feature
Nureva
has launched a new version of its e-portfolio tool,
Troove,
that will allow students to sign in using their Google Apps for
Education accounts. Company representatives said the single sign-on simplifies
the
login process by giving students access to multiple software programs
with a
single set of credentials.
Nureva
launched Troove in January as a cloud-based and
standards-aligned e-portfolio tool for K-12 students.
The new version also has a new projects page that
quickly
shows a student all the relevant projects he or she is working on, along
with
their status.
"This latest release of Troove digital portfolio
software will
make it easier to navigate, organize and manage information within the
digital
portfolio," said Nureva CEO Nancy Knowlton.
The new Nureva Troove software is available now and
qualifying
teachers and schools can receive
a no-cost trial for the 2015-16 school year in
return for providing feedback on it.
With Troove, students can prepare their own work and
pass it
on digitally to their teachers with documents, attachments, media files
and
links to YouTube, Vimeo and Google Drive.
Other features include alignment to Common Core State
Standards, parent engagement tools and a teacher dashboard.
