Math Video Site Goes Free for Educators

Ed tech developer TenMarks has made its online teaching and learning resource free for K-12 schools and educators.

TenMarks TeacherZone provides video lessons based on state standards focused on a wide range of math topics for elementary and secondary schools. Lessons are aligned to the teacher's state standards and provides tools for assigning work to students and

The company said it's making the resource free for teachers to use with students in class and for their students to use at home. The full version supports assignments for students, grading, and tools for reviewing individual and class performance, according to the company.

TenMarks' content covers math for grades 3 through 10, including algebra 1, algebra 2, and geometry. There are hundreds of videos focusing on a wide range of topics, including arithmetic, transformations, linear and quadratic equations, data and graphs, and many others. TeacherZone is available via Web browsers and supports multiple systems. (Firefox is recommended for Mac OS X clients.) Further information can be found here.
